Our Stylists
At the heart of Meraki and behind the chairs are two cousins, Ashlee & Brianna Galletta. Our stylists are a big part of what makes our space so unique and refreshing.
They each bring their own personality, experience and specialties to the chair, but share a warm, down to earth approach that makes it easy to settle in and be yourself.
Around here, your appointment might look a little less like a traditional salon visit and a little more like catching up with people you actually enjoy being around — good conversation, plenty of laughs, honest advice and of course — great hair.
Because we believe the best appointments aren't just about what you leave looking like. They're about how you feel while you're here, too.

Owner & Stylist
Ashlee Galletta
The detail-oriented, slightly eccentric one.
Hi, I'm Ashlee.
If you’re looking for an “in and out” appointment, I’m probably not your girl — unless it’s a simple service. I’m a detail person and if you’ll let me fuss with your hair a little longer, I absolutely will.
I’ve been doing hair for 30+ years, with 11 of those professionally. My journey started long before hair became my career. I taught myself how to braid and do my own hair as a kid, eventually becoming the friend everyone went to for help with theirs. Somewhere along the way, I realized I should probably make a career out of it.
I love cutting hair. There’s something about seeing how different hair types and textures lay, move and behave that I never get tired of. The technical side of cutting is really my specialty and I love creating personalized cuts that actually work for the person wearing them. I also love lived-in, natural color, especially brunettes.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to hair. Your texture, lifestyle, budget and how much time and maintenance you’re actually willing to commit to all matter. I want us to work together to figure out what makes sense for you, rather than pushing you toward something that looks great in a picture but doesn’t fit your actual life.
Most importantly, I want you to feel at home and comfortable in my chair. No question is wrong, and no concern is crazy. If something is bothering you about your hair, I want to hear about it.
I’m eccentric, a little yappy and equally happy talking or sitting in comfortable silence. If you’re down to chat, expect us to go well beyond small talk. I want to know your favorite cheese, why you think no one wears windbreakers anymore and probably what recipe you’ve been making lately.
Outside of the salon, I’m a mom, business owner, plant and animal lover and lifelong kid at heart. I don’t really see the point in “growing up” while I’m growing old. If a piece of art, a hair color, a style, or an article of clothing brings me joy, I’m going for it. Life is too short not to keep a little whimsy in it.
I’m probably going to ask you for a recipe and may overshare. You’ve been warned.

STYLIST
Brianna Galletta
The empathetic, outgoing one
Hi Divas & Dudes, I'm Brianna.
I want my chair to feel like a safe space — somewhere you can show up exactly as you are, talk about whatever is on your mind and know that what happens in my chair stays in my chair.
I’ve been doing hair for almost 10 years now. I started working in a salon when I was 18 and still in beauty school and since then I’ve had the opportunity to work in 3 different salons. Along the way, I’ve worked with several color lines and three different types of keratin treatments. I’m also certified in Philocaly K-Tip and Bellami weft extension installation.
I absolutely love the creative side of hair. Rich color glosses, vivids and blonding are some of my favorites. Give me a head of foils and I can happily be there for hours. I also love barbering, women’s cuts and fun, edgy haircuts. There’s something really exciting about helping someone make a big change and walk out feeling like a completely new version of themselves.
I want my clients to feel seen and heard when they’re in my chair. Your trust and the health of your hair come first. I’ll always be honest and realistic with you about your hair goals, especially when you’re looking for a big change. Sometimes we can get there in one appointment and sometimes your hair history has other plans. Either way, I’ll help you understand what’s possible and what it will take to get there.
I’m not here to get in your pockets. I’m here to work with you, take care of your hair, and help you feel even more beautiful than you already are.
My favorite clients are the ones who aren’t afraid of a big change but also understand that good hair sometimes takes time. If you’re willing to trust the process and let go of what needs to go when necessary — I’m here for the fun part.
Outside of the salon, I’m an animal and nature loving astrology diva. If you get it, you get it. If you don’t, you don’t. I have a weird obsession with crystals and scary movies and I love reading about meditation, chakras, tarot, ancient civilizations, mythology, psychology and pretty much anything that helps me better understand myself, the human experience and the people around me.
